Job summary

Pride in North Carolina, LLC seeks a Licensed Substance Abuse Professional to join the Community Support Team in Jacksonville, NC. The LSAP provides clinical support, crisis intervention, and evidence-based services to adults with behavioral health needs, under CST supervision.

The role requires a four-year human services degree, relevant licensure, and experience working with adults in mental health. Commitment to recovery-oriented care and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a human services field with two years of mental health experience.
• Licensed Substance Abuse Professional credentials (CCS, LCAS, LCAS-A, or CADC).
• At least one year of experience with adults and working in CST settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CST Team Lead to develop and update person-centered plans.
• Provide supportive counseling and crisis intervention.
• Participate in weekly case consultations and trainings.
• Attend meetings on behalf of the person-served and coordinate with providers.
• Maintain documentation per Medicaid standards.
• Apply Motivational Interviewing and Pride’s model in service delivery.
• Support individuals to build confidence, stability, and functional skills.
• Engage adults in empowerment and recovery.
