ISAT Total Support in La Mirada, CA is seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) to support our Custom Engineering Division. You will perform structural analyses, stamp packages, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on commercial and industrial projects.

This role emphasizes autonomy, adherence to IBC and ASCE codes, and providing innovative seismic bracing solutions while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Must stamp engineering calculations and drawings.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, NDS, AISC, AISI, UFC; Nevada amendments a plus.
• Experience in seismic bracing, pipe support design, or custom structural applications preferred.
• Proficient in RISA-3D, STAAD, Enercalc, MathCAD, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and assemble stamped design packages.
• Deliver sealed engineering packages compliant with codes and ISAT standards.
• Support Technical Support Engineers with engineered details and calculations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Fabrication, Sales and PM teams on unique jobsite conditions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide seismic engineering guidance.
• Attend job site meetings and field visits to address design issues.
