Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Professional Structural Engineer in Portland, Oregon, to work on advanced manufacturing projects. You will develop design concepts and conduct site analysis while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role demands strong communication skills and a PE or SE license.

This hybrid position requires 2 days a week in-office attendance and up to 25% travel across the lower 48 states. The salary range for this role is between $74,700 and $102,700.

Qualifications

• PE and/or SE licensed.
• At least 2 years of Structural Design experience in Steel and Concrete.
• Experience with semiconductor facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and technical studies.
• Participate in presentations and attend client meetings.
• Provide technical and analytical expertise to the team.

Skills

Structural engineering analysis software experience (Staad or similar)

Strong communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education
