Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America is seeking a Professional Engineer to design and analyze structures for our built environment projects in Memphis, TN. The role emphasizes coordination with manufacturing, project management, and field teams to deliver safe, efficient structural solutions for our customers.

You will hold a BS in Civil Engineering and be a licensed PE, bringing strong technical and communication skills to a collaborative, growth-oriented team in a leading global building

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

Responsibilities

• Provides project coordination and structural design services and models for customers.
• Delivers well utilized designs of members and connections for detailing and manufacturing.
• Ensures building’s structural integrity and safety.
• Develops advanced product and procedure knowledge and improves technical knowledge.
• Focuses on department objectives and profitability and continuous improvement as part of a high-performance team.
• Meets design schedules to satisfy customer design service needs.
• Collaborates with project teams to discuss problems and create cost-effective solutions.
• Provides technical assistance to customers on projects and to entry-level designers.
• Develops Structural Quotes.
