Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) seeks a licensed Staff Surveyor for our Pittsburgh area team. The role emphasizes technical excellence across boundary, ALTA/NSPS, and ROW work, with emphasis on deliverables and QA/QC.

Remote, hybrid, or office options are available in the Pittsburgh office. The ideal candidate will hold a PA PLS or reciprocity, possess a surveying degree, and have expertise in topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS standards, and modern surveying software tools.

Formación

• Licensed PA PLS or reciprocity within a reasonable timeframe.
• Bachelor’s or Associate in Surveying/Geomatics preferred.
• Experience with ALTA/NSPS, boundary law, deeds and easements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and deliver boundary, easement, plat, ALTA/NSPS, topographic and ROW surveys.
• Analyze deeds, plats and ROW docs to determine boundaries and legal easements.
• Establish and verify survey control networks; oversee field data collection with RTK GNSS and total stations.
• Perform technical calculations, coordinate geometry, and control adjustments.
• Prepare, review and finalize legal descriptions and easement documents; act as final QA/QC reviewer.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews of field data, calculations, and CAD deliverables.
