Job summary

Trinity Solar is seeking a Licensed Solar Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair residential solar systems across MA. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and coordinate warranty claims, communicating clearly with homeowners and teammates.

Ideal candidates have a state electrical license, 2+ years in PV or related tech, and the ability to read diagrams. The role involves rooftop work, travel, and hands-on problem solving in a fast-growing solar team.

Qualifications

• State Electrical Licensed is Required!
• 2+ years of experience in PV installation, solar service, or a related technical field.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret three-line diagrams, construction plan sets, and equipment specifications.
• Familiarity with NEC requirements preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone, email, and in person.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform corrective maintenance on residential solar systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair solar inverter communication systems and connections.
• Prioritize urgent service calls and manage daily service appointments.
• Document completed service work with photos and notes and update systems.
• Coordinate warranty claims and equipment replacements with manufacturers.
• Follow safety procedures on rooftops and electrical systems.
• Research technical issues to identify root causes and restore performance.
