Job summary

Elmwood Health & Rehab Center in Dayton, OH seeks a Social Worker to support residents' emotional and social needs under the Director’s guidance. You will help plan, implement, evaluate, and lead the Social Services Department while following all policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Possession of a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Social Worker in the state, if required by regulations.
Must have experience in Long Term Care and behavioral health.
Healthcare experience in social services, direct care, or hospitality is preferred.
Must be able to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director to meet the medically related emotional and social needs of residents.
Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Social Services Department operations.
Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and established standards of practice.
