Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Social Worker for the Complex Case Unit in Augusta, ME. The role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and coordinate social work interventions, providing support and advocacy to individuals and families in need.

The position requires MSW (or higher) and current LSW/RSW licensure, with at least 1 year of experience preferred. CPR, health cert, and regulatory compliance are also expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution required
• Current state licensure as an LSW or current state registration as an RSW depending on state
• Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to develop the plan of care for clients requiring social work intervention
• Provides support, advocacy, and resources to individuals and families facing challenges
• Conducts assessments, develops care plans, and coordinates services
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote overall well-being
