Job summary

Stellar Care Group in Lancaster, OH seeks a leader to oversee the facility's social service programs. You will plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct services to residents, ensuring compliance with regulations and professional standards.

You will interview residents and families confidentially, supervise the social service department, and ensure administrative tasks and reporting are completed for the Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's social service programs
• Stay current with federal/state regulations and professional standards; advise the Administrator on policy changes
• Interview residents and families in private settings
• Direct the social service department with authority, responsibility, and accountability
• Complete forms and reports and submit them to the Administrator as required

Job description

- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the social service programs of the facility

-Keep abreast of current federal and state regulations, as well as professional standards, and make recommendations on changes in policies and procedures to the Administrator.

-Interview resident/families as necessary and in a private setting

-Assume the authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing the social service department

-Perform administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms, reports etc., and submitting such to the Administrator as required.
