Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Vidalia SNF team. You will evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and develop patient-centered plans that improve communication and quality of life.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable.
Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by an ASHA-approved evaluation organization.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.
