Job summary

Ilocatum in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer PE for Commercial MEP Design. The role is hybrid with relocation provided, offering a base salary of $140,000 to $160,000 per year. You will lead electrical design for complex commercial projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Requires PE licensure, ABET‑accredited degree, and 10+ years’ experience in electrical design and project management on MEP and fire protection systems. Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• Active PE license required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering design and project management experience on commercial MEP and fire protection systems.
• Proven record leading large or complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design, calculations, drawings and specifications for complex commercial projects.
• Integrate electrical systems with mechanical, structural and environmental disciplines.
• Run QC reviews at key milestones and ensure code and regulatory compliance.
• Support construction with site visits and submittal reviews.
• Manage project schedules, resources and budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers and work directly with clients.
