Job summary

Pillager School District #116 is seeking a licensed school nurse for the 2026-2027 school year as a long-term substitute while the nurse is out on FMLA. Servicing students from early childhood through Grade 12, the role requires RN or LPN licensure, CPR/First Aid, and a successful background check.

Preferred LS N, BSN, and PHN qualifications with relevant experience. This position supports student health services, collaborates with learning teams, and ensures a safe environment for learners

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed to practice.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Successful background check required.
• Licensed School Nurse (LSN) preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Public Health Nurse (PHN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify health and safety concerns for students via health history and screenings.
• Make referrals, health education and counseling, record maintenance.
• Participate on student learning teams and implement health service measures.
• Develop programs to reduce medical obstacles to learning.
