Qualifications

• High school diploma or state equivalent; nursing program graduate required.
• Valid Georgia RN or LPN license; CCSD training and tests completed.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Attends mandatory Clinic Substitute Training and updates training as needed.
• Delivers nursing services consistent with Georgia Board of Nursing rules and district policies; adheres to confidentiality.
• Administers and documents medications to students according to approved clinic policies and physician directions.
• Maintains accurate documentation of clinic services including emergency situations; demonstrates professional behavior.
• Communicates and collaborates with school personnel, nursing administration, students and families in a professional manner.
