Job summary

Sport Clips Haircuts seeks a licensed cosmetologist or barber for a Salon Manager (Manager-in-Training) in Boise, ID. This full-time role includes a structured Manager-in-Training onboarding program with about three months of paid leadership training before transitioning to the Salon Manager position.

You will learn to lead daily operations, coach a team of stylists, and ensure an exceptional client experience while meeting brand standards.

Qualifications

• Active Idaho Cosmetology or Barber License.
• Leadership or management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, and customer service skills.
• Desire to mentor others and lead by example.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced salon environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily salon operations, including scheduling and POS management.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing team of stylists.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience while maintaining brand standards.
• Manage product ordering, merchandising, and inventory to support profitability.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-focused culture.
• Support payroll, administrative tasks, and compliance with company policies and state licensing requirements.
