Job summary

SpecialtyRx seeks a licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania for our Harrisburg facility. The role focuses on evaluating orders, ensuring accurate dispensing, and coordinating with nursing and medical staff to optimize patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold an active PA Board of Pharmacy license, have LTC exposure, and demonstrate strong analytical skills, reliability, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active PA Pharmacist license with PA Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
• Computer literate with knowledge of LTC frameworks (PLUS).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and administration.
• Ensure dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members about medication queries.

Licensed Pharmacist Responsibilities:
