Job summary

Respire Health LLC seeks a Licensed Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care in a skilled nursing facility. You will assess residents, develop care plans, and administer treatments including CPT and spirometry, collaborating with nurses, rehab, and physicians.

Responsibilities include monitoring oxygen therapy, educating patients and families, and documenting progress while supporting QA initiatives and facility compliance.

Qualifications

• Current LRT credential / license required.
• Current state licensure required.
• Current BLS certification via American Heart Association or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, and monitor residents with respiratory conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
• Perform all respiratory treatments per physician orders.
• Perform Chest Physiotherapy (CPT) as ordered.
• Conduct and interpret basic Spirometry testing and communicate results.
• Monitor oxygen therapy and airway clearance techniques.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory disease management.
• Document assessments, treatments, and responses in the medical record.
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives and collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams.
