Job summary

Respire Health LLC seeks a Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT) to deliver respiratory care in a skilled nursing facility. You will assess residents, develop care plans, perform CPT and spirometry, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to reduce hospital readmissions.

Requirements include current LRT and state licensure, BLS, and experience in relevant care settings. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Point Click Care is preferred; travel for new contracts may be required.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT) credential required.
• Current state licensure required.
• Current BLS certification via American Heart Association required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, subacute, or hospital settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, and monitor residents with respiratory conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
• Perform respiratory treatments per physician orders.
• Perform Chest Physiotherapy (CPT) as ordered.
• Perform and interpret basic Spirometry testing and communicate results to providers.
• Monitor oxygen therapy, pulse oximetry, and airway clearance techniques.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory disease management.
• Document all assessments, treatments, and resident responses in the medical record.
• Participate in QAPI initiatives.
