Job summary

Respire Health LLC is seeking a Lead Respiratory Therapist to oversee respiratory care in a skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on improving respiratory health, reducing avoidable hospitalizations, and supporting chronic disease management while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

The Lead RT performs CPT, Spirometry, and other respiratory therapies, supervises staff, and ensures compliance with infection-control guidelines and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT) credential required.
• Current state licensure required.
• Current BLS certification via American Heart Association required.
• Minimum of 5 years of Respiratory clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all respiratory services in the skilled nursing facility and supervise staff.
• Check patient caseload/census/visits daily.
• Plan, schedule, and evaluate performance of the respiratory therapy staff.
• Coordinate with MDS, Operations, and Clinical teams on reporting and budgeting.
• Develop and implement strategic planning for the Respiratory Therapy department.
• Input and manage RTS daily schedules and maintain infection control practices.
