Job summary

Yellowstone Local represents Journeymen Plumbing and Sewer LLC, a leading residential plumbing, drain cleaning, and sewer service company in Illinois. This role offers steady, year-round work with a Monday–Friday schedule, on-site Warrenville, IL base, and opportunities to mentor apprentices while expanding expertise across plumbing services.

You will diagnose and repair plumbing systems, perform drain cleaning and sewer service work, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards while

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Journeyman Plumber License required.
• At least 4 years of professional plumbing experience.
• Experience servicing residential plumbing systems.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to complete plumbing repairs, maintenance, service work, and installations independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• Diagnose plumbing issues involving fixtures, water lines, drains, and plumbing systems.
• Complete drain cleaning, sewer rodding, and sewer service work.
• Deliver accurate solutions while maintaining high workmanship standards.
• Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and safety requirements.
• Complete service documentation and job records accurately.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and completed work.
• Support and mentor apprentices in the field.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in the shared rotating on-call schedule as needed.
• Report to Warrenville, IL location and service Illinois area.

Your New Role

• Service customers throughout the company's Illinois service area

• Valid Illinois Journeyman Plumber License required

• Valid Driver's License

• At least 4 years of professional plumbing experience

• Experience servicing residential plumbing systems

• Light commercial plumbing experience preferred

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to complete plumbing repairs, maintenance, service work, and installations independently

• Drain cleaning, sewer rodding, and sewer service work experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Apprentice mentoring experience preferred

• Working knowledge of plumbing codes, safety practices, and industry standards

• Ability to maintain accurate service documentation

• Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment
