Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Journeyman Plumber License.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional plumbing experience in addition to journeyman licensure.
  • Hands-on experience installing, servicing, maintaining, or repairing plumbing systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot plumbing systems and identify repairs.
  • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and related technical documentation.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing codes, tools, materials, and safe work practices.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record when driving is an essential function of the position.
  • Strong communication, reliability, and professional customer-service skills.
  • Ability to work in indoor, outdoor, and active construction or service environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial plumbing systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose plumbing problems and determine effective repair solutions.
  • Perform plumbing service, preventative maintenance, new installations, and renovation work as assigned.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schematics, and project documentation.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
  • Complete work orders and required service or project documentation accurately.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, project managers, and other trades.
  • Follow applicable plumbing codes, jobsite procedures, and employer safety requirements.
  • Maintain required plumbing licenses and continuing education.
  • Work independently when appropriate while coordinating effectively with project and service teams.
