Job summary

Yellowstone Local is seeking qualified Journeyman Plumbers for current and upcoming opportunities with leading home service companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. If you’re licensed and can diagnose issues, perform high-quality repairs, and deliver great service, we want to connect you with growing employers across DFW.

These full-time roles offer pay around $30–$40 per hour, potential overtime, company vehicles in some cases, and benefits such as health/dental/vision/life insurance plus PTO

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional plumbing experience.
• Current Texas Journeyman Plumber License or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Working knowledge of residential and/or commercial plumbing systems.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with plumbing codes and safety practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, service, and install plumbing systems and components.
• Perform residential and/or commercial plumbing service and repair as assigned.
• Work with water supply lines, drain/sewer systems, water heaters, fixtures, piping and related equipment.
• Identify problems and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Follow plumbing codes, safety standards, and employer procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers and document work performed.

Your New Role

• Work on current or upcoming Journeyman Plumber opportunities throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, service, and install plumbing systems and components

• Perform residential and/or commercial plumbing service and repair, depending on the hiring company

• Work with water supply lines, drain and sewer systems, water heaters, toilets, fixtures, piping, and related plumbing equipment

• Identify plumbing problems and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions

• Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety standards, and company procedures

• Communicate professionally with customers regarding plumbing issues, recommended solutions, and completed work

• Complete service documentation and job-related paperwork as required

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment

• Additional responsibilities will vary based on the specific employer and opportunity

• Minimum 2 years of professional plumbing experience preferred for Journeyman-level opportunities

• Current Texas Journeyman Plumber License or other applicable Texas plumbing license required for Journeyman Plumber positions

• Valid driver's license

• Working knowledge of residential and/or commercial plumbing systems

• Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing plumbing systems

• Familiarity with plumbing codes and standard safety practices

• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with professional plumbing work

• Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members

• Ability to work independently and as part of a service team
