Job summary

Fox Service Company, part of Southern Home Services, seeks a Service Electrician to diagnose, install, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems while ensuring safety and code compliance. You will explain issues to homeowners and perform physically demanding tasks across varied home environments.

The role requires a valid license (Journeyman/Master), TDLR, and 2+ years’ residential experience, with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
• TDLR license required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality work.
• Excellent customer service and ability to engage with diverse clients.
• Adaptability and teamwork.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• 2+ years of residential electrical experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical systems.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and breakers.
• Explain problems and solutions to homeowners clearly and professionally.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces.
• Conduct basic wiring tasks and ensure safe, code-compliant connections.
• Use tools and equipment safely and maintain materials.
• Follow electrical codes and safety standards at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
