Job description

A.J. LeBlanc Heating is hiring a full-time licensed residential service electrician in Bedford, New Hampshire. This year-round position pays $30-$45 per hour based on experience and includes health and dental insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, life insurance, uniforms, a well-stocked truck, company tools, and approved training and licensing reimbursement.

The electrician will perform residential electrical troubleshooting, repair, service, and installation throughout Southern New Hampshire, including standby generators, Level 2 EV chargers, service and panel upgrades, load calculations, new circuits, lighting, outlets, switches, permits, and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Install and service Generac and Kohler standby generators.
• Install Level 2 home EV chargers for major vehicle brands.
• Perform service and panel upgrades, load calculations, circuit additions, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Pull required permits, coordinate inspections, and complete code-compliant work.
• Explain scope, options, and findings clearly to homeowners.

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire journeyman or master electrician license.
• At least two years of residential electrical experience.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently, manage job sites, and communicate professionally with customers.

Schedule and location

Full-time, year-round daytime weekday work based at 45 South River Road, Bedford, NH 03110, with a reasonable on-call rotation shared across the team.

Active NH electrical license (Journeyman or Master); two or more years of residential electrical experience; valid NH driver's license with clean record; professional customer-facing communication; ability to read residential prints and perform load calculations.
