Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks an Electrician Renewable to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for solar and wind projects. The role ensures safe operation of electrical infrastructure and compliance with industry standards on utility-scale sites.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, testing systems, and collaborating with project teams to meet project milestones while maintaining accurate records and safety practices on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent vocational training.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification relevant to the state of employment.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, with 1-2 years in renewable energy projects (solar, wind).
• Thorough understanding of AC/DC electrical theory, power generation, and distribution systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues using testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for renewable energy installations (solar arrays, wind turbines, inverters, battery storage).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine wiring layouts and equipment placement.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions and system failures.
• Inspect and maintain transformers, switchgear, generators, and control panels.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
