Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking an Electrician Renewables to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for solar and wind projects. You will read blueprints, interpret diagrams, and ensure compliance with NEC and safety standards.

The role requires an accredited electrical apprenticeship or equivalent, with 3–5 years as an electrician and 1–2 years in renewables; a Journeyman license is preferred. Valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent vocational training.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license preferred; Master Electrician license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, conduit, equipment, and fixtures within solar arrays, wind turbines, and balance of plant systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to determine wiring layouts and equipment placement.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to diagnose and resolve malfunctions.
• Connect power to renewable energy components, including inverters, transformers, substations, and monitoring equipment.
• Ensure all installations comply with NEC and safety standards.
