Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking an Electrician Renewable to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for solar and wind projects. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards on active job sites.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of electrical experience, a Journeyman license, and apprenticeship training. Expect fieldwork across renewable energy sites with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent vocational training.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 3–5 years as an electrician, with renewable energy exposure preferred.
• Strong understanding of NEC and electrical safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for solar and wind installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams for layouts and placement.
• Troubleshoot faults, diagnose issues, and perform repairs on electrical systems.
• Inspect transformers, switchgear, generators, and control panels for safety and reliability.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to meet schedules.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to maximize efficiency and lifespan.
• Document installations, maintenance activities, and repairs in records.
• Operate and maintain electrical tools, devices, and testing equipment safely.
• Participate in safety meetings and uphold a strong safety culture on sites.
