Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks an Electrician Renewable to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for solar and wind projects across sites. You will read blueprints, set up wiring layouts, and ensure safe operation of equipment and battery storage systems.

You will troubleshoot complex electrical issues, follow NEC standards, participate in safety meetings, and document activities for project records. Valid license and apprenticeship completion are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Completion of electrician apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training.
Journeyman license or equivalent certification.
3–5 years as an electrician; 1–2 years in renewable energy (solar/wind).
Understanding of NEC and safety standards.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

Responsibilities

Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems in solar/wind projects.
Read blueprints and diagrams to plan wiring layouts and distribution.
Troubleshoot faults and diagnose system failures.
Inspect transformers, switchgear, and control panels for safety and performance.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety protocols.
Document installations and maintenance activities.
