Job summary
Sayville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant licensed in NYS to join our geriatric care team. You will assist the physical therapist in developing and delivering mobility-focused interventions within a bustling skilled nursing facility.
The ideal candidate is passionate about improving residents’ mobility and quality of life, capable of working independently with supervision as needed, and committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Must hold NYS license for Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Experience in geriatric care preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility and function.
- Evaluate and treat residents independently within a skilled nursing setting.
