Job summary

Sayville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant licensed in NYS to join our geriatric care team. You will assist the physical therapist in developing and delivering mobility-focused interventions within a bustling skilled nursing facility.

The ideal candidate is passionate about improving residents’ mobility and quality of life, capable of working independently with supervision as needed, and committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS license for Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in geriatric care preferred but not required.

Must hold NYS license for Physical Therapy Assistant

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Job Description:

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• SNF experience preferred but not required
