Job summary

Sierra Health and Wellness in California is seeking a licensed LVN or Psychiatric Technician (PT) to join our behavioral health team. You will oversee day-to-day patient care, prepare and monitor medications, document in the EMR, and collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists.

Qualifications

• Current Psychiatric Technician (PT) license or LVN.
• High School diploma or GED.
• HIPAA compliance and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Current TB test and health screen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of patient care.
• Provide individualized resident care and medical support.
• Prepare and review medical records and nurses' notes.
• Provide care per physician orders, care plans, and policies.
• Prepare and monitor medications and document administration.
• Monitor and report adverse reactions to medications/treatment.
