Job summary

TESSERE is seeking a licensed project architect to lead production of construction drawings and specs, and to supervise design professionals on complex projects. You will mentor staff, manage time/resources, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while coordinating with clients and code officials.

The role involves QA/QC, site assessment, travel for fieldwork, and active contribution to project management and documentation across design stages.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in architecture.
• Licensed NCARB certified architect.
• Experience managing client relationships and project teams.
• Proficiency with Revit and MS Office tools.
• Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and manage budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to define goals within regulatory parameters.
• Plan budgets, milestones, and schedules; track performance.
• Develop schematic designs and prepare drawings.
• Coordinate design development and construction documents across disciplines.
• Review documents for conflicts and ensure code compliance.
• Lead project meetings and document minutes; manage RFIs and change orders.
