Job summary

Ellie Mental Health in Birmingham, AL seeks a Licensed Professional Counselor – Approved Supervisor (LPC-S) to provide high-quality therapy while supervising counselors pursuing full licensure. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who enjoys developing other therapists in a flexible, creative, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, clinical documentation, and coordination with families and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama LPC license with approved supervisor designation (LPC-S).
• 5+ years of clinical therapy experience preferred.
• Completed supervisor training and eligible to provide clinical supervision in Alabama.
• Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain professional boundaries.
• Experience working with diverse client populations.
• Insurance credentialing experience preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.

• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain professional boundaries
• Experience working with diverse client populations
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and EHR systems; Valant experience is a plus
• Insurance credentialing experience preferred
• Ability to successfully complete a background check
