Licensed Practical Nurse | Full Time | Columbia, TN
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a full‑time basis. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients under RN or physician supervision
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and per scope of practice
- Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and daily nursing activities
- Accurately document patient care in electronic health records (EHR)
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant care environment
- Follow infection control protocols and facility policies
- Support patient comfort, dignity, and emotional well‑being
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the applicable state
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and clinical procedures
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑based environment
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in healthcare (e.g., long‑term care, clinic, assisted living, hospital)
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
