Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team, providing direct resident care and collaborating with physicians and a multi-disciplinary team. We offer Full-Time 6p-6a, Part-Time 6p-2a, and 6p-6a shifts with starting pay from $28.00 per hour plus $3.00 differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved nursing program (education requirement).
• Valid Ohio LPN license and CPR certification.
• At least 6 months of direct care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate a sense of caring, concern, and dignity for elders.
• Respect elders' autonomy and dignity in care decisions.
• Conduct and document thorough assessments for residents' medical conditions and treatments.
• Provide care per Wellness assignment sheets and complete lab orders.
• Adhere to facility policies and participate in quality improvement and safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Communicating a sense of caring, concern, and dignity for elders
• Recognizing the autonomy and dignity of all elders
• Understanding how to place decision-making in the hands of elders
• Focusing on providing high-quality service and care
• Conduct and document a thorough assessment of assigned Independent Living residents’ medical conditions and treatments.
• Provide required care per the Wellness assignment sheets
• Process and complete required lab orders
• Adheres to facility policies and procedures and participates in facility quality improvement and safety programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of approved nursing program
• Licensure/Certification: Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, CPR
• Experience:At least 6 months of direct care nursing practice desired
