Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Valid state LPN/LVN licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• CEUs as required by the State.

Responsibilities

• Assesses residents by physical examination and pertinent tests to determine health status.
• Administers medications and treatments.
• Supervises LPNs and CNAs.
• Communicates changes in residents' conditions with physicians.
• Documents assessments and care per standards of care and company policy.
• Educates residents and families on health-related issues.
• Completes required forms and documents per policy and regulations.
• Demonstrates caring, dignity, and respect for elders.
• Recognizes autonomy and dignity of all elders.
• Supports elder decision-making.
• Focuses on high-quality service and care.

Shift: Full & Part-time Night Shift, PRN

Responsibilities

• Assesses residents by physical examination, including pertinent diagnostic testing to determine health status.
• Administers medications and treatments.
• Supervises LPNs and certified nursing assistants.
• Communicates with physicians regarding changes in resident’s conditions, diagnostic test results, etc.
• Documents assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policy.
• Educates residents and their families on health-related issues.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and State and/or Federal regulations.
• Communicating a sense of caring, concern, and dignity for elders
• Recognizing the autonomy and dignity of all elders
• Understanding how to place decision-making in the hands of the elders
• Focusing on providing high-quality service and care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid state licensure as an LPN/LVN.
• Current CPR certification.
• CEU’s as required by the State.
