Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring team in Ohio. The LPN directs resident care, collaborates with physicians and a multi-disciplinary team, and provides physical and psychological support to residents and families.

We offer shift options including Part Time 1st shift and PRN, with starting pay from $28.00 per hour and additional $3.00 differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Join our mission-driven community focused on person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• Valid Ohio LPN license and CPR.
• At least 6 months of direct care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate care with dignity for elders and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and multi-disciplinary team.
• Assess medical conditions and treatments for assigned residents.
• Provide care per Wellness assignment sheets.
• Process and complete required lab orders.
• Adhere to facility policies and participate in quality/safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Communicating a sense of caring, concern, and dignity for elders
• Recognizing the autonomy and dignity of all elders
• Understanding how to place decision‑making in the hands of elders
• Focusing on providing high‑quality service and care
• Conduct and document a thorough assessment of assigned Independent Living residents’ medical conditions and treatments.
• Provide required care per the Wellness assignment sheets
• Process and complete required lab orders
• Adheres to facility policies and procedures and participates in facility quality improvement and safety programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of approved nursing program
• Licensure/Certification: Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, CPR
• Experience:At least 6 months of direct care nursing practice desired
