Job summary

The Pediatric Center in Frederick, MD is seeking full-time or part-time LPNs with vaccine administration experience to support doctors and nurse practitioners in caring for patients from newborn to college age. Shifts are Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with occasional evenings and one Saturday every four weeks.

Starting pay is $23 per hour with a $1,000 hiring bonus paid at 6 months. Requirements include a Maryland LPN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of pediatric experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience, preferably in pediatrics
• Formal medical training and active Maryland license as an LPN

The Position

We're looking for a full-time and part-time people with previous experience administering vaccines to work on the floor assisting our doctors and nurse practitioners as they provide excellent care to our patients who range in age from newborn to college age. The position is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with two evening shifts a month and one Saturday (8am-12pm) shift every 4 weeks.

Starting pay $23 an hour with $1000 hiring bonus paid at 6 months.

Education and Qualifications

• Competency in operating medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.

• Possess the ability to maintain quality control standards, react calmly and effectively in emergencies, interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures, communicate clearly, and work effectively with co-workers, while maintaining confidentiality of clinical information.
