Advocare LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our clinical team in New Jersey. The LPN will deliver professional nursing care, assist with examinations, administer medications, and document patient information accurately under physician supervision.

You'll work in a pediatric-focused care environment, coordinating flu and COVID clinics, ensuring infection control, and maintaining patient confidentiality while educating families on procedures and health maintenance.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Completion of an approved LPN program.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience; clinic experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with pediatric vaccine administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and operate flu and COVID clinics.

Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering professional nursing care to patients within the care center. Working under the supervision of physicians and the clinical services team, the LPN supports patient care by assisting with examinations, administering medications, and documenting patient information accurately and timely.

Licensed Practical Nurse Essential Functions

• Coordinating and running a flu and COVID clinic
• Must be familiar with pediatric vaccine schedule
• Provides general nursing care to patients.
• Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Prepares list of medical supplies needed.
• Ensures cleanliness.
• Observes, records and reports patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
• Educates patient & family about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition and maintenance of health and wellness.
• Maintains/reviews patient records, charts, and other pertinent information. Posts tests and examination results.
• Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines, and confidentiality policies.
• Perform other duties/tasks as requested by providers, coordinators, and management in accordance with office procedures/policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling patient's medical records and information.

Licensed Practical Nurse Required Skills/Abilities
