Job summary

The Pediatric Center of Frederick, LLC. is seeking both full-time and part-time staff with experience administering vaccines to support our doctors and nurse practitioners in delivering high-quality pediatric care for ages newborn to college age.

Hours are 8am–5pm, Monday through Friday, with two evening shifts monthly and one Saturday (8am-12pm) every four weeks. Starting pay is $23 per hour with a $1000 hiring bonus paid at 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• 1 year of pediatric experience preferred.
• Active Maryland LPN license with CPR certification.
• Experience administering vaccines is required.

The Position

We're looking for a full-time and part-time people with previous experience administering vaccines to work on the floor assisting our doctors and nurse practitioners as they provide excellent care to our patients who range in age from newborn to college age. The position is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with two evening shifts a month and one Saturday (8am-12pm) shift every 4 weeks.

Starting pay $23 an hour with $1000 hiring bonus paid at 6 months.

Education and Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred)
• 1 year experience, preferably in a pediatrics
• Formal medical training and active Maryland license as an LPN
• CPR certification required

• Experience administering vaccines is required
• Competency in operating medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
• Knowledge required to maintain a safe work environment.
• Skilled in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques of professional nursing to provide patient care.
• Possess the ability to maintain quality control standards, react calmly and effectively in emergencies, interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures, communicate clearly, and work effectively with co-workers, while maintaining confidentiality of clinical information.
