Job summary

Mercy in Fort Smith, AR seeks a licensed practical nurse for a part-time role (24 hours per week) to provide patient care under supervision and coordinate care with the team.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited LPN license, maintains patient confidentiality, and commits to BLS within 30 days of hire with unit-specific certifications as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (or equivalent experience with licensure).
• Current LPN license in the state of practice; must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - required within 30 days of hire; other certifications may be required per unit.

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details:

Part Time: 24 hours per week

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (or equivalent experience with licensure).




• Licensure: Current LPN license in the state of practice; must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
