Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN.

The role supports patient assessments, care coordination, education, and clear communication with the healthcare team to ensure quality, compassionate care. Responsibilities include admissions, discharges, ongoing care, bedside handoffs, and documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Ability to meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.

• BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire if not already obtained).
• ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., or other unit-specific certifications as applicable.
• LPN-IV certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe, if applicable).
