Job summary

Ro Health, LLC is hiring licensed LPNs to support students in public school districts across Illinois. Positions are in-person, Monday–Friday during the school year with a start date as soon as possible and flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle.

Responsibilities include coordinating care for students with chronic conditions, providing first aid, managing immunization records, and communicating with parents and school staff. CPR/BLS certification and TB test are required.

Qualifications

  • IL state nursing license is required.
  • CPR/BLS certification is required.
  • Current negative TB result is required.
  • New grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate care for students with chronic conditions with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
  • Provide 1:1 nursing support including potential g-tube, trach, catheter care.
  • Monitor immunization records and ensure state compliance.
  • Provide first aid and emergency care and participate in drills.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records and communicate with families.

Overview:
  • In-person
  • Options throughout Chicago area
  • Monday through Friday while school is in session
  • Start date: ASAP and flexible
  • Specialty: pediatrics and school health
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
  • 1:1 support that may include g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, seizure precaution, etc
  • Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations
  • Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records
  • Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
  • Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
