Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with MA licensure preferred
• Experience in pediatric care and school-based health services ideal
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in medication administration and patient safety

Responsibilities

• Deliver health services during classroom and therapy sessions.
• Monitor daily student health and administer medications per physician orders.
• Collaborate with classroom and nursing teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Ensure infection control practices and safe environment.
• Communicate changes in medical needs to interdisciplinary team.
• Support Eating Skills program and aquatic therapy sessions.
• Accompany students on field trips and community outings as needed.
• Teach health classes focused on nutrition, hygiene, and wellness.

Pay: $39.19/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

What You'll Do

• Deliver health services during classroom and therapy sessions.

• Ensure compliance with infection control practices and maintain a safe environment.
• Communicate changes in medical needs, equipment trials, or care plans to the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide direct support to the Eating Skills program and aquatic therapy sessions.
• Accompany students on field trips and community outings based on care needs.
• Teach monthly health classes focused on nutrition, hygiene, and general wellness.
