Job summary

Ahhmgt is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to perform nursing care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The role includes delivering patient care through the nursing process within a therapeutic environment and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Required: Basic Life Support and active LPN license. Preferred: Advanced Life Support, de-escalation, and CPR readiness. This is a key support role on the unit with potential for preceptorship as assigned.

Qualifications

• LPN must hold a current-license to practice.
• Basic Life Support certification is required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per physician orders under RN supervision using the nursing process and therapeutic environment.

Job description

The LPN performs nursing care of patients in accordance with the physician's orders and under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process, the therapeutic environment, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration. Director or Nurse Manager may assign to serve as LPN Preceptor for the unit.
