Job summary

The Registered Nurse in a skilled nursing facility assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care plan for residents, ensuring continuity of care between shifts by supervising LPNs, CNAs and other staff. The RN conducts resident and family teaching as applicable, and may be assigned as RN Preceptor or Charge RN for the unit.
