Mercy Living Center in Tupper Lake, NY, a 60-bed skilled nursing facility, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our compassionate team providing direct nursing care and support to residents.

The nurse will supervise nursing assistants, contribute to individualized care plans, and ensure adherence to our high standards of dignity and respect. Our center offers 24-hour care, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse Program.
• Six months of experience preferred.
• Current registration or temporary permit to practice nursing in NYS.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Develop care plans in coordination with the nurse.

Formation

Licensed Practical Nurse

The primary purpose is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Certified Nurse Assistant will provide to each of their assigned residents, daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan or direction by the nurse.
