Tupper Lake Center in the Adirondack Park is seeking a professional, caring LPN Nurse Manager to lead a 24-hour nursing unit and ensure high-quality resident care.

You will oversee nursing personnel, coordinate with the care team to develop comprehensive resident care plans, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain continuity of care. Administrative duties may be assumed in the absence of the Director of Nursing; compensation will reflect experience and education.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New York State.
• Experience in long-term care (LTC) preferred.
• Ability to coordinate resident care plans and supervise nursing staff.

Responsabilités

Tupper Lake Center is an easily accessible 60 bed skilled nursing facility providing both long and short term care.

Nurse Manager

Twenty four hour responsibility on a nursing unit for the systematic management of resident care in accordance with standards of professional practice, established department policies and procedures, and regulatory agencies. Oversees all levels of nursing personnel to assure proper use and documentation of the nursing process in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care. Insures continuity of resident care through ongoing communication with residents, families/significant others, charge nurses and staff on other shifts. Coordinates with other healthcare professionals to develop a comprehensive individualized resident care plan. May assume administrative duties in the abscence of the Director of Nursing, or supervisors.

Salaray commensurate with experience and education.

Educational Requirements/Qualifications

• Current LPN in New York State
• LTC experience preferred
• Demonstrates clinical management skills needed to coordinate resident needs and functioning of the unit
