Job summary

American HealthCare seeks an LPN for a PRN Travel Pool to provide direct resident care and supervise non-professional staff. The role includes administering medications, stocking supplies, and ensuring CNA coverage on each shift in a geriatric setting.

Virginia LPN license required with preference for long-term care experience. Strong communication and decision-making skills are essential to support our residents and care teams.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Must have an active LPN license in the state of Virginia.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility.
• Ability to make independent decisions.

Responsibilities
