Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for PM shift in adult inpatient units. The role covers direct/indirect nursing care, medication administration, and patient education within a psychiatric/substance abuse treatment setting.

The position is full-time, 12-hour shifts (Th/Fri/Sat 6:30pm-7:00am or Sun/Mon/Tues 6:30pm-7:00am). Annual salary range is $50,500 - $60,000 plus benefits and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure (OK) with current permanent license.
• Two years of practical nursing experience for LPN III.
• One year of practical nursing experience for LPN II.
• LPN I: current OK LPN license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 25 pounds as required.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct/indirect nursing care including assessments, planning, interventions, evaluations, health education, case management, and medication administration.
• Deliver nursing care under supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
• Care for patients with psychiatric illness or substance abuse in inpatient settings.
• Perform crisis intervention and collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other nurses.
• Prepare and distribute medications on the unit.
