NYS Office for People With Developmental Disabilities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care under supervision. You will administer meds, monitor vital signs, and contribute to treatment plans in a supportive setting.

Candidates must possess NY LPN licensure (or a limited permit/app on file) and may need to obtain full licensure within one year. A valid NY driver’s license is required. The NY HELPS program applies.

Formación

• Licensed practical nurse in New York with active registration.
• Option to hold a limited permit or have an application on file.
• Must obtain full license within one year of limited permit.

Responsabilidades

• Assist licensed health care providers in patient care and plans.
• Administer medications and nursing procedures as prescribed.
• Record vital signs and monitor health status for diagnosis.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Maintain charts and treatment records.
• Attend to personal care and daily living activities.
• Educate patients and families on health goals and procedures.
• Ensure a safe, clean, therapeutic environment.
• Monitor supplies and assist with supervision of unlicensed staff.
